Recently, I had the joy of photographing one of Scotland’s Home of the Year finalists at her beautiful, cosy home—Quiney Cottage. A perfect embodiment of cottagecore in the countryside, her space is full of charm. So many cute little spaces, collected treasures from antique shops and grandmas attic, it felt like a little farm girl storybook.
We spent the afternoon with fresh strawberries, watering plants and playing with arranging flowers.
Rachel poured her heart into making her house a home, and she wanted to capture this chapter, to hold onto the feeling of what it’s like to live here and now. That’s the beauty of interior and lifestyle photography: it’s not just about the spaces you create, but the memories you build within them.
If you love cottagecore dresses, wallpaper, thoughtfully designed homes, and the kind of moments you’ll want to revisit again and again, documenting your space with family and loved ones is a beautiful way to celebrate it. Whether it’s a cosy afternoon at home, a garden gathering, or simply life unfolding in your favourite corners, I offer relaxed, natural photography that tells your story as it really feels.
If you’re proud of the space you’ve built and want a photographer who sees the heart in every room, I’d love to hear from you.
