(FYI, you can get married anywhere in Scotland!) I'll help you make this dream come true by helping advise on locations, tips for planning, and crafting a day that captures the simple beauty of your love story, that makes sense to you.
From the hillsides of the Glencoe & Cairngorm mountains, majestic pine forests of Mar Lodge Estate in Braemar, to the rugged cliffs of the Aberdeenshire coast, I’ll capture you exploring one of the most beautiful places in the world, while promising your hearts to each other. Choosing to elope is such an exciting decision. A day for you to focus on your connection, with moments of your story told in a meaningful way.

It’s your day and you can do what you want!
Although, while a very small wedding may seem like it wont last too long, 1 hour may not be enough to tell the story. I suggest a minimum of 2-3 hours to allow a relaxed pace to pick the perfect spot for nuptials and also leaves time for documenting getting ready or little celebrations afterwards. Getting ready can even be as simple as sharing a cup of coffee together, getting the kids ready if you have them, or just little details you want to remember. A champagne toast afterwards and some more styled photos after the ceremony is documented - that kind of thing!

I can definitely suggest some of my favourite stunning locations in Scotland and how to get there, especially if you’ve never been to Scotland before. I can give advice on vendors such as celebrants and florists. I am happy to help where I can, especially if it is a destination for you. I’ve lived in Scotland for 7 years now and have a lot of experience planning my very own elopement!

It really depends on what feels true to you. So long as you have the appropriate clothing, all seasons (all weather!) in Scotland are beautiful. I’m pretty laid-back and fairly adventurous so will join you and document your wild love whenever.

I absolutely love capturing couples promising themselves to eachother with their children. It’s so special to make a commitment with the family.
I specialise in family photography, so I’m definitely okay with children involved, and know the day can change as their moods do!

Yes! You can legally get married anywhere in Scotland – as long as your ceremony is conducted by a registered celebrant.
The outdoors in Scotland can’t really be beaten as far as elopement spots go! Scotland has it all: rugged mountains, stunning beaches, ancient woodland and magical secluded lochs. But of course, if it’s a simple country house, cityscape registration office in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen I’m happy to go with what is most authentic to you.
