Wild Mama

Each type of location can be perfect for any stage of life your family is in, we can make it wild and adventurous or keep it gentle and serene. Scotland is our oyster!

For other family photoshoot locations in Scotland beyond Aberdeenshire such as Glencoe and Aviemore, there is an added travel cost, enquire for more details.

You might be wondering...

What if my children don't behave?
I get it. I'm a mother of a very ~feral~ 5 year old boy. I never expect your children to be perfect and I won't be put off by the wildness of childhood. Let you children be their wonderful selves, play, running, tears, joy, whatever comes our way. We'll follow their lead and make it fun.

1.

How do I book a session?
Send me a message via the contact form. We’ll discuss your ideas, location, and any other ideas or questions you have.

2.

What should we wear?
I recommend earthy tones and textures. Clothing that feels good on and complements Scotland’s beautiful outdoors. I offer you a styling guidance after booking to help you choose outfits.

3.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Scotland’s weather is part of its charm, but if conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll reschedule or find a cosy indoor location. Unless there is a weather warning, we'll usually be okay outside!

4.

I don't see a lot of faces looking at the camera, will I get any like that?
Of course! So, I don't always post the full on child smiling at the camera photos for a bit of privacy & peace of mind for your family! You'll have plenty in your gallery of their beautiful faces. I do try to get a couple standard portraits if you want them, but that is not my main goal in the session, I'm all about connection and closeness between you all, and in-between moments of joy and love
